Williams (89) Poetry Featured

The 29th Kentucky Women Writers Conference will feature three sessions with Kentucky poet Lisa Williams (89).  Her most recent work, Woman Reading to the Sea, was selected by noted author Joyce Carol Oates for the 2007 Barnard Women Poets Prize.  Lisa is currently a scholar and associate professor of English at Centre College.  After gaining her bachelor's degree from Belmont, she went on to earn a master's degree in creative writing and poetry from the University of Virginia and a master's in literature from the University of Cincinnati.
