Devon Graves ('10) is part of a traveling musical group called Mosaic with six core members. Graves ('10) said via e-mail the band's members became friends while studying music at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She said they started arranging some Christmas songs for fun around December 2008 and from there the idea to form a group began. "It took a big step of faith for us to quit our (nine to five) jobs and tell our parents that we were going to do music full-time. However, there is no doubt in any of our minds that Mosaic is exactly what we are supposed to be doing," she said.
"God has opened so many doors for us, provided gigs and contacts we never expected and taken care of us in every situation, be it through providing a tow truck when our van has broken down or financial assistance from the most unexpected of sources."
Graves ('10) graduated in May from Belmont University with a bachelor's of music in commercial voice and a bachelor of arts in French.
