Selby (87) to Teach Summer Class

Glenn Selby (87) to Teach Songwriting at CPCC Summer Semester. The Selby Music Group is pleased to announce that Glenn Selby, owner and founder, has been added to the part-time faculty at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) to teach a songwriting course for the summer semester 2010. The course will last for eight weeks with the culmination of students completing and performing a song. Classes will be on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm and begin June 10, 2010. Selby’s background includes not only a bachelor’s degree in music from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, but he was awarded a partial music scholarship his freshman year to Tennessee Tech University for music theory and composition. While at Belmont and since graduating in 1987, Glenn has worked in the music business as a songwriter, musician, vocalist, arranger, publisher, and producer.
