Jane Ann Cramer, nee Ewing, age 53, died peacefully in her sleep April 22 in her home in Evanston. Cherished wife of Larry Cramer; beloved daughter of Audrey J. and Raymond P. Ewing of Kenilworth. Jane was born in Winnetka and was a graduate of Greeley School, Joseph Sears School in Kenilworth, New Trier High School, and Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where she received her B.A. Degree, graduating cum laude. Jane™s report for the Fisk collection, based on interviews of faculty and staff who were present during the 1949 visit, was cited in a recent two-volume biography of the artist. There will be a Memorial Service at the Winnetka Congregational Church™s Little Chapel, 725 Pine Street, Winnetka, Tuesday, May 3rd at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Nashville Humane Association, 213 Oceola Avenue, Nashville, TN 37209.
