Oliver Leo Reynolds (Class of 1956) Passes Away

Oliver Leo "Ozzie" Reynolds Cottontown, TN Age 81 of Cottontown passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 surrounded by those who loved him. He was born March 2, 1936. Ozzie was known as a loving husband, caring father, younger brother, and the most supportive grandfather and great-grandfather ever. Reynolds retired from Ford Motor Glass Company after 44 years. He was an avid athlete who lettered in baseball, and basketball at Belmont University, and was inducted into the Nashville Old Timers Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame in 2002. Reynolds was known best at the gyms and ballparks as his grandkids and great-grandkids biggest supporter. He is preceded in death by parents, Max & Minnie Reynolds; sister-in-law, Joan Short and brother, Leroy (Gerry) Reynolds. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Elise Reynolds; children, Kelly (Kim) Reynolds, Mike (Kerrie) Reynolds and Debbie (Jeff) Kimbro; grandkids, Leslie (John), Kacie (Justin), Matthew (Jennifer), Chase, Taylor (Chris), Dylan, Allie and Hailey; great-grandkids, Eli, Preston, Madison, Kelsey, Easton, Ellie and Blakely. A Graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10am at White House Memorial Gardens. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, March 14, 2017 4-8pm at Austin and Bell in White House.
