Brian Baker has been named to the U.S. Olympic Tennis Team as announced by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) on Saturday.
The Nashville native rose to prominence from an early age, reaching No. 2 in the world as a junior, where he defeated the likes of 12-time major champion and current world No. 1 Novak Djokovic.
The Olympic Tennis Tournament will be held from Saturday, Aug. 6-14. The tournament will be televised live in the United States by NBC on the Bravo Cable Network. Bravo will have 12 hours of coverage for the first five days of the tournament and eight hours of coverage on the final four days of the event.
