Reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist Brad Paisley (95) was beyond honored to be asked to participate in the upcoming White House Music Series. The series is hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama and its goal is to celebrate the arts and the importance of arts education.  The series launched last month with a focus on Jazz and will continue in the fall with Classical music.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, July 21 Paisley and fellow Opry member, Bluegrass great and past duet partner Alison Krauss will participate in an educational workshop with 120 middle and high school students from across the country.  In the evening they will perform in the historic East Room before the President – who will make opening remarks – the First Lady, students, White House staff, and Members of Congress.

The Country Music Celebration is presented with assistance from The Country Music Association, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and produced by the Grand Ole Opry and Great American Country Television.

A three-time GRAMMY Award winner, Paisley currently has the #1 Country album in the nation with his new release, American Saturday Night.
