After graduating from Belmont in 2008, Ross Riddle moved to New York to pursue his love of music and fashion. Now he is launching a new line of t-shirts.
In 2012 Ross stumbled upon a rare photograph of Jackie Wilson and traced it back to William "Popsie" Randolph, a music photographer whose work spanned over thirty years, from the 40's through the 70's. Intrigued, Ross cold-called Popsie's son Mike, who manages his father's collections and estate. Through their ongoing conversation, Ross was granted access to Popsie's archives. He found many rare images taken at the right time in the right place to capture authentic, raw portraits of iconic musicians.
Ross was inspired to match these images with high quality, ultra soft t-shirts using a unique printing technique. The result is Rosser Riddle's First Collection. The collection is available at Saks both in-store and online.
