Philip Edward Phillips(90) recently published a book, New Directions in Boethian Studies, coedited with Noel Harold Kaylor, Jr. The multidisciplinary collection of essays, which also includes a manuscript edition of a Middle English translation of Book I of Boethius's Consolation of Philosophy, was published by Medieval Institute Publications of Western Michigan University Press and is available on the MIP website. He is also the author of John Milton's Epic Invocations (2000) as well as several aritcles on Boethius. Phillips received his MA (1992) and PhD (1996) from Vanderbilt University. He is currently associate professor of English and Director of Graduate Admissions in English at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN.
