McMINNVILLE, Tenn. – Attorney Ryan J. Moore celebrated his first full year of law practice Thursday, May 16, with a "Red Carpet Ceremony” and Business After Hours event at his downtown McMinnville office. The event was held in coordination with the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce. Moore began his practice in April 2012, after graduating from the Nashville School of Law with honors. He spent nine years working with his family’s 50-year-old lumber business, Supreme Building Products, Inc. in McMinnville, after earning his undergraduate degree from Belmont University in 2002. Moore and long-time Smithville attorney J. Hilton Conger partnered to give both exposure in each other’s hometowns. Moore said he’s learned much from Conger in the past year and they enjoy a "great relationship and friendship.” One of Moore’s proudest accomplishments in his legal career thus far is the renovation of his McMinnville office building in historic downtown McMinnville. He was able to take one of the oldest structures in the community, which was formerly a meat market and restaurant, and completely renovate it into the professional office environment it is today.
In his practice, Moore’s primary legal focus is in all types of family and business law. He regularly handles a variety of cases from divorce and child custody to real estate and construction issues. He also litigates criminal defense cases involving trial law.
Outside of work, Moore and his wife, Ashley, have been married for six years and are actively involved in the First Baptist Church of McMinnville. Ashley is an RN at River Park Hospital and a graduate of Ole Miss University. Moore’s parents are J. David and Jane Moore, also of McMinnville. Moore has a brother and sister-in-law, Reece and Angela Moore, of McMinnville. Moore enjoys slalom water skiing, tennis and exercise in his downtime. He is a lifelong resident of McMinnville, serves on the board of directors of Main Street McMinnville and is slated to be the Breakfast Rotary Club’s vice president next year. Moore can be reached by stopping by his office at 115 N. Spring St. in downtown McMinnville, calling (931) 474-RYAN (7926) or visiting his website at www.attorneyryanjmoore.com.
